In early 2011, the existing Massachusetts GTUG was renamed as the Boston GTUG. This GTUG typically holds their meetings in Boston. This renaming was done to make room for a new Western Massachusetts GTUG. This new GTUG will be holding meetings outside of Boston in Western Massachusetts, thus the new GTUG's name.

What's a GTUG?

Google Technology User Groups (GTUGs) are user groups for people who are interested in Google's developer technology; everything from the Android and App Engine platforms, to product APIs like the YouTube API and the Google Calendar API, to initiatives like OpenSocial.
